Contry
Hill Farm, situated atop 30 acres in the highlands of Mason, NH is only 20
minutes from the Massachusetts border (Townsend/Groton) and Southern New
Hampshire (Hollis/Nashua). The family run Horse Boarding, Training and
Lesson Farm was established in 1972. Contry Hill Farm offers many
amenities to the horse and rider, such as an indoor arena, stadium and
cross country jumps, a new large size sand Dressage arena and miles of
trails, including Karen's 3 mile hunt course through the secluded
woodlands and fields that surround the farm.
Owners, Karen and Chuck Contryman
focus on the care and well-being of every horse boarded under their roof. The Contry Hill Farm offers full board and all day turnout for
horses and ponies, summer camps for children and adults, and riding
instruction by qualified instructors for beginners through advanced
Dressage. (see Lessons and
Training) Also, a variety of clinicians, for
disciplines such as jumping and vaulting, come to Contry Hill year round,
offering the equestrian interesting avenues to enjoy their equine.
Throughout the year, everyone enjoys assorted
fun events like Christmas caroling on horseback, clinics and horse shows.
